Dyslexia-Trained Tutors – Community Resources

At Dyslexia Therapy of North Alabama, our mission is to provide high-quality training for educators and therapists so that students with dyslexia receive the specialized instruction they need to succeed. While our organization does not directly employ or place tutors, we understand the importance of connecting families with qualified professionals in the community.

Finding a Dyslexia-Trained Tutor

We recommend seeking tutors who have completed accredited training in multisensory structured language instruction, such as those certified through the Academic Language Therapy Association (ALTA) or similar recognized programs. These professionals have the skills to provide targeted, evidence-based instruction tailored to the unique needs of students with dyslexia.
